SILMÉXICO'S STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS TO OUR IP - INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SERVICE

1: SCHEDULE A MEETING

Schedule a virtual consultation meeting with one of SILMEXICO’s expert lawyers.

They can advise and support you in securing of IP registration, which will provide legal certainty in its use, and avoid the possibility that your trademark may violate the rights previously obtained by another person.

2: SUBMIT YOUR PAYMENT TO SILMÉXICO

A quote will be sent to the provided email address. Your payment allows us to move forward with this service as soon as possible.

3. PROVIDE US OPTIONS FOR THE REGISTRATION OF YOUR IP

We will verify which of the three (3) possible names you provided for your intellectual property and see if they are available. The process can take three (3) to five (5) business days, after which you will be sent a certificate of the registered intellectual property. If the five (5) names you provided were not approved, you will be asked to provide us with five (5) more possibilities.

4. COMPLETE REGISTRATION

Once the registration has been validly obtained with IMPI, it will entitle you to the exclusive use of the trademark, which will generate protection that can be exercised through civil and criminal actions when any third party infringes that right.

5. DELIVERY OF YOUR ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS.
